WitrynaYes, according to OneR's article "Understanding Personally Identifiable Information: What Is PII", the last four digits of a Social Security number are considered sensitive PII when combined with a person's name and bank account number, as well as being sensitive on their own and when combined with other pieces of PII. WitrynaClassifying DoD ID as PII or not, I'd rather give that out all day since it isn't used outside the DoD (or for affiliated purposes) whereas SSN definitely is.
